the end :0
Finally, my high school journey comes to an end huh... feels weird
There are definitely people I must thank. I did not want to write a final cheesy blog about thanking my parents, but I feel obligated to do it because they have gone out their way to demonstrate what unconditional love is. My mother has been a great emotional support for me, listening through my struggles late midnight, and I'm thankful that I can have someone so caring to depend on. She also has made my life infinitely times easier by cleaning my room once in a while because it's disgusting in there. And thank you to my dad for bringing a sense of direction and support in my life, encouraging me to pursue what I love to do.
Thanks to all the teachers that have been instrumental in my academic growth the last four years. Definitely some teachers that I will never forget are Mr. Moore, Mr. Marley, Mrs. Parks, Mr. Hevel, and Ms. Ritter. They all have really pushed to my absolute limits the past few years and flourish as a student.
I also want to genuinely thank Mrs. Feldkamp for many things. I remember when I first entered high school, I had a bit of hatred for English because it was my worst subject. Taking ESL in elementary school and then regular English courses in middle school, I was definitely not ready for the challenge that I set myself up for when entering advanced English courses. I remember the very first essay that I completely bombed— the Of Mice and Men essay.
After failing this essay and reflecting on my writing, I was determined to work hard and improve on my essay qualities. I must say I'm not quite confident with my writing still, but I definitely made a lot of improvement my freshman year. Without Mrs. Feldkamp's support as a teacher, patiently explaining my flaws and always having the passion to help students grow, I wouldn't be the student I am today. I thank you for everything you have done for your students and me.
I would like to thank two specific authors, Kate Chopin and Zora Hurston, for their incredible novel that I still remember vividly to this day. Kate Chopin's Awakening have been a great pleasure to read and a lot to analyze from. Zora Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God was the novel that I wrote about for my AP test Q3. Thank you to Prince EA for his incredible poems and motivational videos. They have definitely shifted my view towards life in general and motivate me to become a better member in our society.
Lastly, I need to thank the friends around me who made my high school year so much more enjoyable. Instead of writing a sentimental paragraph thanking them, here are pictures that capture my best memories this year...
